The Ed and Martha Wright Chain Bit lays across a horse's tongue and puts pressure on the corners of a horses mouth. It is extremely pliable and allows a horse to manipulate the mouthpiece and their tongue.
It is a forgiving mouthpiece and most horses do not overreact when excessive pressure is applied.
